Alessandro’s culinary journey began in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he first recognised the power of food to bring people together. Unlike many chefs, his inspiration wasn’t drawn from childhood memories in the kitchen but from a home where the respect for ingredients, creativity and the joy of good food were cherished above all else.
Rooted in Mediterranean culture, his style has evolved over nearly 20 years in Australia, blending influences from Asian and South American cuisines along the way. For Alessandro, cooking is about more than just flavour, texture and tradition – it’s about the connection forged through food.
His aim at Alpha is to ensure that every guest leaves not just satisfied, but fulfilled, having experienced the joy and union that comes with a well-crafted meal
